Togato di Arezzo

The “Togato of Arezzo” is a 2.14‑meter marble statue from the late 1st century BCE, found in 1994 near Via Pasqui along the ancient Cassia Vetus. It once stood in a grand funerary monument and was intentionally buried, which preserved it almost intact. Our goal is to reconstruct the original altar/temple setting using the architectural fragments recovered during the excavation.
