Madonna con Gesù Bambino e Santi

16th-century tempera on panel by Bartolomeo Neroni (Il Riccio), depicting the Madonna and Child with Saints Paul, Bartholomew, Lucy, and Sigismund. Both the painting and its 18th-century frame need careful conservation.

On June 9th, a team of experts carried out the first safety intervention to prevent further damage and conducted a thorough assessment of the painting's condition, ahead of the full restoration. Once the funds are collected we will be able to begin the restoration process.
